Service Desk Manager 

Service Desk Manager required on an Interim basis for a leading London Law Firm their team of support analysts. The role is initially 3 months and requires previous experience in a similar role within professional services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Service Desk Management
  • Performance Management and Skills Development of team members
  • Coaching & Mentoring staff
  • Business Engagement; manage expectations and deal with issues and complaints

Technologies supported include:

  • MS Office 2010
  • Windows 7
  • Active Directory
  • PC Hardware 
  • Other legal specific applications (Digital Dictation, Carpe Diem etc). 

The role requires strong leadership skills to motivate the team and provide guidance, including day-to-day task management and coaching of individuals in the various teams.

Suitable candidates will understand the all-hands-on-deck situations often required in a Professional Services firm and will balance this hands-on need with the wider outwardly business facing aspect of this kind of role and the need to keep on top of metrics in order to keep improving performance in line with ITIL principles.
