Service Desk / Desktop Support Analyst - Law Firm, Filesite, BigHand

Service Desk / Desktop Support Analyst required by London law firm to provide technical support to all members of the firm and to assist the IT department in maintaining secure and stable IT systems. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Providing user support for approved IT facilities via phone, remote connection and deskside visits
  • Identifying the nature of technical problems and placing support or maintenance calls with external suppliers as required - Coordinating remedial action
  • Setting up PCs and workstations to access network, servers and required software in accordance with agreed guidelines
  • Maintaining and monitoring system event logs and escalate as necessary
  • Basic network troubleshooting

Key skills required:

  • 1-3 years’ Legal IT support experience
  • Active Directory administration
  • MS Office 2010/2016
  • Legal applications - iManage Filesite DMS, BigHand Digital Dictation, Interaction
  • MS Windows 7

This role will suit someone with previous experience working within a law firm or with legal applications, and that also has provided face to face support as well as remote/phone support.
