Project Manager - Document Management Systems & Information Management

Project Manager required by leading Document Management & Information Management solutions Consultancy.
The firm is well established with clients including large scale corporate firms as well as Law Firms and Accountancy Firms. They're now scaling the business and looking for people to help with the next phase of growth.

As a Project Manager you will ensure the successful delivery and implementation of new implementations of Document Management Systems (DMS), working with the internal technical teams as well as client side project manager and IT Teams. You will work across the full project lifecycle, ensuring relevant stakeholders and resources are engaged throughout, processes and timelines are agreed and communicated, and appropriate methodology is followed to ensure successful delivery. Client engagement and relationship management are key elements of the project manager role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties / vendors
  • Produce project definitions to include scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage project scoping, schedules and costs
  • Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Achieve sign off from stakeholders at key stages of the project
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, using a risk register and other tools / techniques
  • Provide regular communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Evaluating project delivery against benchmarking and reviewing lessons learned and best practice recommendations

The ideal candidate will have a deep and rich background delivering business systems projects with demonstrable strong stakeholder engagement experience. You should be confident building and maintain relationships with a wide range of people, and have a track record of bringing groups together to achieve successful outcomes.

The position will have an emphasis on project delivery of Document Management and Information systems, including document management, case/matter management, contract management, and legal e-billing systems (as well as document assembly/automation, document security, and document collaboration tools).
Prior experience with such systems is highly desirable, in a legal or other professional services setting.
