Messaging / Collaboration Architect - Exchange 2016, Skype-for-Business

Messaging & Collaboration Architect required by corporate law firm to be the lead specialist for the firm's global communications requirements.

As the a lead specialist and architect you will be central to the design and implementation of Exchange servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. This individual will also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure Exchange provisioning and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead projects in respect of upgrades to messaging (cloud and self-managed) / unified communications and other components
  • Standardise and globalise messaging systems taking into account both global and regional needs
  • Contribute to the roadmap for continuous improvement, evolution and suitable replacement when/where necessary, of the messaging systems employed at the firm
  • Support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for Exchange-based messaging and collaboration solutions in conjunction with end-users and department managers

You will ideally have previous experience of working in a professional services environment (legal, accountancy, insurance, finance) with a strong service culture.
