IT Systems Analyst - Onsite IT Support

IT Systems Analyst - Onsite IT Support Analyst required for a city firm based near Chancery Lane with 100 users. The IT Systems / Onsite IT Support Analyst will provide support on a wide range of technologies including desktops/laptops, mobile devices, applications, AV and elements of network and server infrastructure.

As a member of the 2 person onsite IT team, you will provide comprehensive support to users on incidents, technical questions, carry out application and server admin and simple maintenance, and work with the 3rd party MSP on any issues to do with their Hosted infrastructure services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist users with IT hardware and software issues including MS Windows, Bespoke software packages, computer networking, video conferencing etc.
  • Provide solutions to desktop, mobile and system problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software incidents/problems
  • Supporting and administering Citrix for remote access / Work From Home users
  • Maintain and administer users on the telephone system.
  • Installing and configuring bespoke software and applications
  • Troubleshooting and investigating network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, patching)
  • Managing and supporting mobile devices (iPhones)
  • MS office configuration and support, including O365
  • Moving hardware to new locations within the London offices and be able to navigate a comms cabinet to ensure devices are patched into the correct network switches.
  • Installing and maintaining printers and replenishing toners.
  • Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with the business and third party suppliers as the successful candidate will be the onsite liaison for external third party support.
  • Create and maintain users in Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot document production in Microsoft Word, PDF, Excel etc.

And you
You will be a proven IT professional with experience working in a small team supporting 50-200 users. Your experience should include

  • Working in a highly service-focused IT Support role, ideally in professional services (Law, Finance, Accountancy)
  • Exchange and Office 365 user / account admin
  • Creating group policy objects
  • Windows Server 2016 or later / WSUS maintenance
  • Windows 10/11 Desktop setup and troubleshooting
  • Citrix Server / Client Installs and Admin
  • MS Office 2013-2016 / O365
  • Configuring and administering client-server applications
  • Configuring PCs, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Printer management and support (service and devices)
  • Installation and support of smartphones
  • Supporting AV / Meeting Room and User Technology
  • Tracking IT Assets
