IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Analyst

IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Analyst required for the Colchester office of an international professional services firm. As an IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Analyst, you'll deliver comprehensive support for the firm's applications, desktop and mobile operating systems and devices. This role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to work within a professional environment, committed to delivering high standards of service.

You'll join a team responsible for providing remote and occasional hands-on support to the firm's users in the UK, and internationally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for users in the firms' offices
  • Troubleshooting Computer Software and Hardware, Network Devices and Mobile Devices
  • Advanced Support of MS Office Applications
  • Providing How-do-I support as well as fixing problems
  • Documenting new solutions you discover and sharing information
  • Managing escalated tickets from other team members

Prior experience in a highly Service Focused IT Support team, ideally in professional services (Law, Finance, Accountancy) is desirable.

Your technical knowledge should include:

  • MS Office 2013-2016 / O365 - troubleshooting and investigation
  • Configuring PCs, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Windows 10 support
  • Active Directory administration and maintenance
  • Configuring and deploying applications
  • Installation and support of smartphones
  • Updating support calls in the service management tool
  • Tracking IT Assets

Experience with Legal Technology is desirable, including applications such as iManage Worksite / FileSite, Winscribe Dictation, Interaction CRM
