End User Computing Analyst

End User Computing Analyst required by leading Law Firm

£55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits

This position is joining a team of 4 End User Computing Analysts responsible for the Firm's EUC Environment, assisting the senior manager in the design, maintenance and support of End User platforms and collaborating with other teams to deliver firm wide projects.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Being an integral part of the Infrastructure team providing support and assisting with BAU works and projects as needed.
  • Application packaging and installations / upgrades - Creation of packages and transforms.
  • Management of desktop group policies, user profiles and other environment management tools.
  • Management of desktop O/S and applications patching process.
  • Managing environment management infrastructure (AppSense) and deployment processes.
  • Managing deployment infrastructure (SCCM) and deployment processes.

Skills required:

  • Advanced knowledge of SCCM (2012 preferred), for configuration management, operating system, application and patch deployment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, Azure and Server 2016
  • Demonstrable experience of taking ownership of a project and leading a team through the design and implementation of that project.
  • Experienced in use of AppSense Environment Manager including Personalisation.
  • Experience of application deployment and configuration using App-V.
  • Experienced in full desktop operating system and application lifecycle management.
  • MSI/scripted Software Application Packaging using standard tools to create MSIs and transform files.

This is a great opporunity for an End User Computing / Desktop Analyst to embed themselves as a senior memeber of the team, being the 'go to' Analyst for technical issues but also assisitng in the design and delivery of new solutions.
