Desktop Support Analyst
Desktop Support Analyst sought by an international Law Firm to support users in their Central London Head office. This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious firm with a network of offices around the world

The Desktop Support Analyst will provide support on a wide range of technologies including desktops/laptops, mobile devices, applications, and elements of network and server infrastructure. You will support users with a wide range of incidents spanning Desktop and Deskside Support, as well as escalated Incidents from the 1st line Service Desk. You'll take part in regular floor walking, as well as projects to deliver new technologies and improve user experience.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Providing VIP Support to Visitors and Senior Staff
  • Configuring, maintaining and supporting Windows based Desktops and Laptops
  • Installing and configuring additional bespoke software and applications, including their Net Documents DMS
  • Troubleshooting and investigating desktop network connectivity issues (TCP/IP, patching)
  • Managing and supporting mobile devices (iPhones)
  • MS office configuration and support, including o365,
  • Active Directory and Exchange Management

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Providing Desktop Support in a Corporate or Professional Services Environment
  • Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, Office and Windows
  • Legal Applications Support - Document Management Systems such as FileSite / WorkSite, NetDocuments and similar,
  • Desktop and Laptop Devices including build, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Mobile device Management Solutions
  • Active Directory - Account Management and configuration
  • Exchange / Email - troubleshooting, archive management, antivirus support
  • iOS mobile devices
  • Audio Visual / Video conferencing systems support
  • Citrix
  • Printer management and support (server and devices)
  • Contributing to Continuous Improvement Initiatives to offer ever-improving service to your users

You'll enjoy analysing and solving problems to help users. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise a varied workload, and consistently maintain a customer focused approach.
